Inspire Others

I’m not much of a writer. Just wanted this blog to be an outlet and possible forum for discussion. I know there are people in much worse situations than I’ve been in. I want to inspire others to face their fears, make changes, and grow their self confidence.

Recently I saw that Camila Cabello mentioned she struggles with her self confidence. It’s so wonderful that she can inspire others by talking about something so personal. She inspires me to pursue my dreams. Her song ”Million to One” makes me want to chase my acting career and not give up.

My kids and I watched the latest season of “The Amazing Race”. Kim and Penn won it, he has ADHD and she has struggled with anxiety. They inspire others by showing that no matter what mental health struggles you have, you can do whatever you put your mind to! That makes me so hopeful.

It makes me think about all the songs that have inspired me over the last few years. ”OK Not To Be OK” by Marshmello, ”The Climb” by Miley Cyrus, ”Go On” by Candice Sand, ”Underdog” by Alicia Keys, “Roar” by Katy Perry, ”Brave” by Sara Bareilles, “How Far I’ll Go” by Alessia Cara, ”Good To Be Alive” by Meghan Trainor, ”Fight Song” by Rachel Platten, “The Champion” by Carrie Underwood, ”Cloudy Day” by Tones and I, “Win Anyway” by WALK THE MOON, ”Love Myself” by Andy Grammer, ”LOUD” by Sofia Carson. That’s just naming a few!! How can those songs not inspire others? These artists put so much feeling into their lyrics and bare their souls to everyone. So inspiring to me.

Throughout my working career in management, I’ve always strived to inspire others to achieve their dreams and be their best selves. Now I just hope I can do the same thing for people through my personal stories in this blog. So many struggles over the years, but so many possibilities for my future…
